Project Summary

A Community-Led Model for Environmental Sustainability, Cultural Empowerment, and Economic Uplift

Project Summary:

"From Shore to Soul" is a transformational, community-driven initiative in Zanzibar designed to blend sustainable environmental practices, cultural heritage preservation, and inclusive economic development. With a deep respect for Zanzibar’s coastal ecosystems and rich Swahili culture, this project engages local communities—particularly women and youth—to become stewards of both nature and tradition. By promoting green livelihoods, eco-tourism, and heritage-based entrepreneurship, the project creates lasting social change rooted in sustainability, equity, and pride.
